Control the water content and viscosity of the material
Try to use dry materials with less mud content. After the materials enter the jaw and are broken into small pieces. Tthey will not stick together and cause material jamming.
Control feeding size, distance and angle
According to the upper limit size of the feeding port of the jaw crusher. The feeding size of the raw material shall not be larger than the upper limit size of the feeding port to prevent the slot from being stuck. And the material should be fed evenly. Since the jaw crusher is in a semi-rhythmic working state, if the feeding amount is too large, the crushing cavity will be blocked, and the capacity will decrease if the feeding amount is small. The feeding port of the feeder should be set at 0.5 meters from the top of the jaw breaker, and then adjust the appropriate feeding angle to ensure smooth feeding without pressing the material, but vertical feeding is strictly prohibited to prevent the impact force from damaging the jaw breaker.
Adjust the rotation speed of the eccentric shaft
The rotation speed of the eccentric shaft is the key factor affecting the frequency of vibration and extrusion of the jaw plate. The faster the rotation speed of the eccentric shaft, the higher the extrusion frequency of the jaw plate, but the more power consumption.
The high frequency will cause the crushed stones not to leave the crushing cavity in time, which is prone to blockage. Therefore, it is very important to choose a motor with the right power, which must be consulted and understood before selection.
Reasonably adjust the discharge opening and bite angle of the jaw crusher
As the primary crushing equipment, the size of the discharge port of the jaw crusher should be based on the optimal feed particle size of the second-stage cone crusher. It should not be adjusted arbitrarily, so as to prevent unqualified discharge and re-feeding, which will affect the production capacity. The angle of bite between the movable jaw and the fixed jaw is inversely proportional to the height of the crushing chamber and the production capacity. Reasonably reducing the angle of bite can increase the production capacity. The adjustment of the bite angle should be strictly operated. Generally in the range of 17-26° (the actual situation shall prevail)
Pay attention to the wear state of the jaw plate
Paying attention to the wear state of the jaw plate and adjusting it reasonably will have a great effect on improving the jaw crusher performance. Check and judge when to invert, interchange and replace the jaw plate. The following is the state of the jaw plate and the corresponding treatment measures:
(1) The bottom of the movable jaw wears 1/3; the bottom of the fixed jaw wears 2/3. Invert the two jaws separately.
(2) The top and bottom of the movable jaw plate wear 1/3, and the middle part wears half; the top and bottom of the fixed jaw plate wear 2/3. Exchange the two jaws.
(3) The top and bottom of the two jaws are completely worn. Replace them all.
